A panorama of Moser-Trudinger-Adams Inequalities

Abstract: Moser-Trudinger-Adams Inequalities fill the gap in the Sobolev embeddings at the critical index where the expected boundedness fails and it is replaced by exponential integrability. Different settings, for example bounded open sets in the Euclidean $n$-space or compact manifolds versus unbounded regions or the whole $n$-dimensional space, require different conditions and different approaches. I will make a survey of the theory discussing these aspects and stressing the role of Riesz-like potentials.
